fairing lowers

Finally got round to fitting fairing lowers bought off Benny,got a question ,now I can hear all sorts of noises coming from the engine,some are like proper banging and sh1t ,real loud is this normal?runs ok just sounds awful anyone else had this ,make is pyramid I think.cheerz ady f.

I had this when I fitted mine. The first thing you notice that a lot more sound gets deflected up so you hear more engine sounds. The second thing is temperature, You will notice the bike run a little warmer. Come winter time it's real nice as it deflects a bit of heat to your legs.

I have a moriwaki replica belly pan and had to get used to a lot more noise coming from either the road or from the bike. I first thought that the wheel bearings had gone, or I dropped a big end bearing, but now got used to it.

I was going to fit some deadening material to the inside, but in the end couldn't be bothered, so live with the noise.

Same here. lots of reflected noise from the bottom end. just ignore it and hope it isnt a CCT :D

Thanks guys not just me being paranoid then ,might put some sound deadening in though as its bloody loud,finally did the manual cct's Al so just rumblling bottom end noises I guess.cheerz ady f.
