The northwest 200 has been cancelled due to the amount of rain they're having

Now Ive been to the TT and we had scorching weather luckily, but this is the one thing that puts me off going to UK racing, the bloody weather!

Yes i got up early to get the paper before the racing, sat down down and its pissing down, to be fair i went to most of northern irelands road races in the 90s and some of the next decade and can only remember getting soaked once, must have been lucky, i think thats twice in the last three years its been cancelled i think, don't take my bike to the TT, i use the buses, the lady i have stayed with for about twenty years rang today and told me the bus drivers are going on strike for the TT, that cheered me up
