Interesting that it's named "HONDA VTR1000 FIRESTORM VARADERO XL1000 ENGINE"

I know they use the same engine block or something but don't they use different cams and the such? And isn't the Varadero also fuel injected? Didn't think they'd be a straight swap... Granted it states in the description it's from a 'storm, but I'm curious. Can anyone offer some knowledge and insight?

Looking at it it is running on carbs so could be the old varadero but I think there just the same but someone with more knowledge will be along I am sure to let the rest of us know.

It's a firestorm engine .
The air box is on wrong !!
The early xl1000 was carbed and only had 5 gears and was de-tuned .
That's all I know

no, I can't get lucky all the time tho but between the 19 ltr tank and carbon twin port exhaust I got cheap I cant moan
