This week I found....

Post by 71geoff »

this..

A guy at work told me he had a mate that needed to get rid of a Firestorm that was in his garden and hadn't turned a wheel in over a year. He had no details on the bike at all, not even a hint of a price!! Thinking there might be a chance that I was going to find a scrapper I went anyway.

Turns out I struck lucky.

X registered
9200 miles
High level cans
Colour matched bellypan
Carbon hugger
Colour matched undertray
Spare Scorpion high level cans/brackets etc.

It needs a bit of cleaning and some new tyres but nothing else.

A quick talk about a small amount of cash and it was mine!!

Here it is with it's mate (Benny's old one)

That look nice and clean Geoff and the best of the Blues. The colours in the end cans suit it as well.

I guarantee that if I told you, you wouldn't believe me.

It also has a Datatool alarm and both original keys.

I almost didn't go to see it as I have a second SP1 that needs a few parts and thought the money would have been better spent there.

That depends on what the wife says as I have quite a few bikes and she's getting fed up with em!!

What ever happens, i'm pretty sure it won't be broken for parts.

Tell her they are not bikes, they are garden features. Either that or paint them in some kind of flower power pattern to camouflage them.

Front indicators are now standard items, rears will need to stay flush mounts unfortunately.
