An update for you...3 June 2027...up enough for you?




Yep they still haven't managed to fix me sense of humour...

Another bout of surgery, reset me wrist & put some wires in to hold it in place, now 6 to 8 weeks in a cast, when it comes off they will remove the wires & hopefully it will be sorted out. Then about another 2 months to build up the strength & physiotherapy to sort the movement out.

No firm news from the insurance incompetents yet Tony. Complete shower of shites!

Be a while before any spanner monkeying or indeed any monkey spanking...but as they say good things come to those who wait...

Well at least they are doing something to sort it out mate. It will pay off in the long run. I still haven't got the stand sorted. I'll get it sorted soon and then I will have an excuse to pay you a visit. You must be bored shitless but at least you have the TT to keep you entertained

10.45 appointment for orthopaedic check on the elbow...just after 13.00 I get called in...

Little chat, book some physio, small adjustment to the cast for comfort & fag rolling ability & done. See you in 6 weeks.

i had physio a few years back for an old moto-x injury on a damaged vertebrae in my neck,

it hurt so much i stopped going after four weeks, he didn't seem happy unless until he could see tears, wish i had stuck with it as it still plagues me now its got so bad at times i've felt like sticking a spoon into my spine and popping the bone out, though i can't as i realise i'll probably be numb from the neck down

They are called K-wires, basically put in to keep it in place & stable. I had some put in the right wrist on Monday as it kept slipping out of place & was 'sublux' posh orthopaedic way of saying dislocated.

after breaking my leg, all my ribs on my left side, and having spinal fractures down most of my spine, i can honestly say, that the most painful bit is the physio/rehab........ferk me it hurts.
and muscle/tendon damage is worse than broken bones. good luck with it mac, as its your pleasuring hand, its important to get it working properly again....
take lots and lots of drugs........

I had bicep tendon fixed back onto the bone3 years ago after I pulled it off on skiing holiday. I was in full arm plaster for 6 weeks. It hurt like hell while in cast and afterwards. I went out on bike about an hour after having cast off (Helen doesn't know) as I keen to get out on bike again. Don't recommend it but hey ho. Consultant wasn't best pleased when I turned up on bike for a check up 6 weeks later. Still hurts when hauling bike around going quick .
