What's the best high temp paint for my exhaust system?

g'day mate, barbie paint. :lol: No seriously I'm not sure what the best is but stay away from the VHT stuff and use something that is specifically made for exhausts.

I found this stuff to be shat, I put it on my car header pipes and eventually flaked. once you get a chip in it I think it will just come off. When I worked in the domestic gas industry as R&D we had a guy that showed examples of glass flake coating. Yes its brittle but he says that exhaust are a good part of his business, and you can get any colour and never rust.

i tried the frosts/eastwood stuff and it still came off... :(

Google firwood paints or search on here, cant post link off my fone.
Good stuff, used for woks and stoves etc
Ive used it on headers and it stays black
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

normally frosts is great stuff to use.

Its for cast iron so that may be the problem

Might send them off to be coated and run standard system for couple of weeks
