I lifted up about two and half ft :eek2 it was right on the crest of a small railway bridge. I didn't mean to, it was just that I gave it a big handful flying over the bridge. I quickly leaned forward a bit to get it back down.

i did another 200miles yesterday, thru kent and sussex, ended up in brighton watching a friends ladies beach volleyball team..... :erection:
it was a good mix of a and b roads, followed by a motorway blast home, i also had a chat with a couple of nice bike coppers, who were teaching a bike safe course. one of the told me he can wheelie his zx10r at 100mph of the throttle......
almost ripped off a second numberplate..... :eek2
i'm waiting for a smaller plate to arrive, whoever had this bike before me cut down the original rear mudguard/numberplate holder, which doesn't help matters.

Stood & watched as Tony unloaded 'Ole Red from his van & wheeled it into me garage... :(

I would have given him a hand but...

Thanks again Tony for picking it up on the day, looking after it, not nicking any bits & bringing it home.

Glad to have it home very, very sad to see it in such a state.

Spanners out upgrade opportunity on the horizon...when me arms better.

Frame is scrap, hole in head stock.

Wont be spannering any time ant time soon as plaster on for about 6 weeks min, then there is the lack of strength in the arm wrist. Will have to find some kind of repetitive, rhythmic exercises for me right wrist to get the strength & movement back...any suggestions folks ?

Robbing bastids have made a verbal offer of £1700 but that is less excess & scrap value & is yet to be confirmed.

At least the scrap metal blokey won't be knocking on my door every day asking about "that old red one cluttering your drive up".
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

thats a low offer mac, i was offered 1650 for my bike two yrs ago after my big off, and that bike was crap compared to yours, i'd want at least 2k if i was you. finding a frame is easy, and bodywork ain't that hard to get hold of, a few of us would have that bike stripped apart and rebuilt in a few days, i reckon you'll need some renthals tho because of your wrist.
it would be good to have your bike sorted and ready to ride, a good incentive to crack on with the physio and recovery.....
