Re: Track day - group booking
You ride your own ride . No one will make you go faster than your comfort zone .
Re: Track day - group booking
I've done a few at Cadwell. Whatever group you go in there will always be someone that shouldn't be in there, usually someone that has booked in because all their mates have booked in.
I usually go in inters but you find a hugely mixed level of rider in there from riders that should be in novice to ones that would be at the front of the fast group!!
Be careful as it gets addictive.

Just thought... You need full leathers that either zip together or are a one piece. That rules me out unless anyone has anything that will fit me that doesn't make me look like a girl

Re: Track day - group booking
I'd like a go at this... count me in if it all fits in time wise.
Like the others I too am a track virgin... so no heroics from me on the day.

Why ask... sometime you just go to do it and find out?

Ditto mate. There will be no pressure on a novice day thoughseb421 wrote:Interested mate just sh1t scared of smashing 5 grand of bike up if i get carried away trying to find my limit![]()
if they have a slow slow james may group i'd like to do that and then work my way up
how much money are we looking at?

Looks though we have a possible 11 + my brother is up for it so ill ring round and see what we can get with a booking for 8 to 12 riders.
Ill try Mallory and Donnington.

Would prefer Mallory and can make any non-week day. Busy times at work so not ideal taking a day off

Weekend days seem few and far between, plus seem more expensive, the only real option is the one at the end of August at Mallory.Virt wrote:Would prefer Mallory and can make any non-week day. Busy times at work so not ideal taking a day off
Are week days a definite no no for you?

I see track days are much more serious that when I used to go..........all this bring your bike on a trailer and tyre warmer malarky
I will ride mine there [and hopefully ride it home!] and bring a can of petrol and my sandwiches strapped to the back.........its a Firestorm on sport touring tyres, it never going to be the fastest thing out there, but it will be good for a laugh.

I am pretty sure that even though you might not be fastest there, you will be the fastest from this club

Re: Track day - ** UPDATED **
I need to look at the calander when I get home, but Donington and Mallory are easiest, and friday means less holiday to book

Re: Track day - ** UPDATED **
I shall let you lot sort the dates and if I can find myself a set a leathers in time I shall do my best to make it there
If I do not make it have fun and give a good lap round for me

Re: Track day - ** UPDATED **
