So my wife and I bit the bullet and forked out for full service on the bike as I will be riding it a lot more as the other half needs the car most of the time now because of the wee one.
I got the garage to check the Cush drive as well as I'm not very confident with regards to removing the wheel and putting it back correctly

, it was good and the sprockets were good to. The bike it running better and a lot less rattly. But that maybe because of all the things I was checking to see we're ok I forgot to check the oil level

I pulled into a petrol station a few days before the bike was to get services and thought I'd check the oil as I hadn't checked it for a while.... Holy cr*p there was no oil in the wee window when I held the bike up right, so topped it up and it pretty much felt better straight away. The oil looked really dark in the wee window to. After the service it is a nice clear colour

The mechanics took it for a ride and also noticed the 'clunking' noise and as another member in my last post mentioned said it felt like it was miss firing at low revs. I've noticed that when I put shell v power on it seems to get a lot worse and happens frequently. When using normal 95 octane it seems to hardly happen.
I have sprung a wee coolant leek in the left hand radiator on the very bottom hose. The mechanic couldn't find it as it only seems to happen every now and again, so another wee problem to sort out then
