No chance of catching it, it's under the cast, It's not exactly what I'd call comfortable however...

You don't want it fused, that would not be good. Your better off living with the pain. I guess the hook is there so they can pull it out. :eek2

i have the same injuries as yourself and cant stress enough about physiotherapy
when ever the cast comes off get stuck into it ,my brother broke his wrist and didn't bother now his wrist doesn't bend back at all
i have about 70% movement now but manage ok but still feel i should have done more exercise
good luck :D

Two hours bloody kip, slept from 12 till 2, lay in bed worrying with impending doom about a sweaty gorilla with an ear ache coming for a visit on Sunday...Got up at 4...tea, cornflakes & painkillers.

The hook is a hurting in this new cast, I feel a dremel moment coming on to cut a window in the cast around the hook...

Is there supposed to be pressure on the hook pushing it in place.

and to make matters worse the gorrilla and his chimp friend will probably be coming round tomorrow as the weather on sunday looks crap..... :eek2 :eek2
another sleepness night ahead.....
i think you need to keep a routine mac, try not to snooze in the afternoon, strong pain killers make it tough not to doze off for a couple of hours. at least that way you get a decent/better nights sleep.
if theres pressure on the hook, maybe you should contact the hospital, they could'ave cocked up when puttiing the cast on?

I wish no strong pain killers left...

Nah I was just grumpy this morn It don't hurt too much.

Its like when you bash your funny bone whack the other one to take your mind off the pain...

I'm just slamming me knob in the door to take my mind off this pain...

Just had a call from the hosp, 'come in today for 12.30ish for a quick slice n dice to reset the wrist...' 8O

Nothing like a bit of notice is there...

Still gets it done & saves on the other option which was go on wed's & be there for 06.30!

Op this arvo then home after the knock out juice has worn off...

Note to admin...can you please get a left handed  simile as it's me right hand that's fercked so saying  isn't very accurate at the mo...
Good news everybody, today I found this...

Notice the difference... apart from the fact that it has a better tan than me...

Yes a left-handed thumbs up, for everyone with a mangled right wrist...well & left-handed people of course...

I have officially got far to much time on my hand...
