GPI Gear Position Indicators...good or bad...poll
whilst having a diccusion about gear position indicators on the facebook vtr thingy, i was wondering what peoples views are on them.
i'd like to own one but i can't afford one atm. anyone running one?
i know tony has one, and i've ridden his bike and found it to be a useful addition to the instrumentation. what do you think?

Sooo... 2nd on a storm is equivalent to 4th on a (or mine at least) Hornet? Interesting..

I got one but don't know why to be honest, probably an impulse buy at some point.
Got it situated on the left side of the clocks, it's okay, does what it is meant to do but to be honest when I think about it, I really don't know why I have it?
no help what so ever that answer was it......

Why ask... sometime you just go to do it and find out?

Weird!! Poor old BSM is now just a number.
I had a gear indicator on a GT380 once but whilst very pretty don't really think it's of much use.

I've had one for years. Brilliant IMHO and stops me looking for 7th gear.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!
