I've got an Acumen one with a Voltmeter for sale. Never fitted it, don't think I will - but I know I need cash!

I don't think they are a necessary addition but I would like one, but would incorporate it into the instruments rather than stick on the outside like a gadget.

I did wonder what happened to the CBR too.

That explains it in one line. Makes sense.

I do want one at some stage but I want to incorporate it into the dash like Tweety has done. I was hoping he may start making some ready to fit, but I guess I will have to work that one out for myself with a bit of electronics advice here and there. It's not like I can't solder. I have a CBR dash to go on, so I will fit one into that. Or I may buy an Accuman and strip the casing off and use that as a direct fit. Not 100% sure yet, just thoughts in progress at the moment. I would like a voltmeter as well as I feel that would be more useful.

Wouldn't mind one of them. I try to count my gears but I do forget at some point and it screws me over trying to find 7th gear or just overtaking in 5th instead of 6th.. (5th with 33bhp is the most useless gear in the world..)..

How difficult was it to fit lloyd? And how much do they cost, can't imagine they come cheap...

i'd like to own one but i can't afford one atm. anyone running one?
i know tony has one, and i've ridden his bike and found it to be a useful addition to the instrumentation. what do you think?
I've got one it was on the bike when I bought it, at first I thought :wtf: is this for I know what gear I'm in! But now I find it quite useful, I'd even go as far to say I like it

Why count the gears. 6th at 80 is bang on 4'400 rpm on a standard sprocket setup

It's one of them mods you wished you did years ago .
Stratman wrote:I've had one for years. Brilliant IMHO and stops me looking for 7th gear.
I've had mine now for a good few years too. For me exactly as Lloydie and Stratman says  It's not something you watch or need to watch every gear change, but when you do have that moment of, am in 2nd or 3rd gear which usually happens on the downward gear changing sometimes for me, or as Stratman says to stop you trying for 7th gear, it's definitely well worth having IMHO.
