You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Yes, I was at the one near my house and there was no-one there either.

You'd think they'd give them different names so you could tell them apart. That's like having quintuplets and calling them all Jim.

You wouldn't get them mixed up, but no-one would know who you meant.

Right. Let's try again.

I'll meet you on the corner at seven.

No, stupid, the one near the roundabout........
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Basic results till lloydie scans the print outs.

There were 2 groups of storms, the healthy bikes And the sick ones! Carl wasn't sure which group to join!!!!

So for the healty group ...
Bad news is lloydie won with 108/109, then griff and me joint 2nd with 105/106 then Carl with a leaking exhaust at 98/99. Blowing flames on the overrun....Marty will post a vid

The sick group was won by Marty......assuming the worst result wins this class....no pride in being the 2nd most sick, you have to go for worst.

Martys bike would not rev past 6 ...still, but dyno operator Kev diagnosed it as electrical not fuelling...so he took the front plug off and on the rear cyl it managed to rev through, so whatever is causing the problem is making a bad interaction where the 2 cylinders are fighting....... But that sounds like cam timing to me!!

Gaz's bike was also sick but his did rev through but fueling was sh1t and power down. With baffles removed it got much worse so that was confusing....more work needed onthat bike too.

Good news on the compression test front is that griff and Martys bikes are both healthy pumping 160psi.

After 3 when the other storm owners had left the gixxer boys turned up and one k7 ran 174bhp!! Also a z1000 nakid with stubbed pipes was the loudest ever..... Even stood outside you couldn't hear people shouting at you.

Good day

Marty and Carl, thanks for making the trip, was good to see you and hope the exhaust bodge got you home

Funniest thing in the world. He's been bragging about how VFR's have like 115bhp for ages, long before I got the storm. And been saying "Yeah VTR's only make about 100".. I almost cried with happiness at him being cut down like that

It sounds like it, but it's not as the timing has not been touched apart from sticking the rear cylinder on the compression stroke to sort a leaky CCT. It was OK before so it's not timing.

As for my day http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 25#p275052

Was also talking to dyno Kev about variations dyno to dyno, and he was saying that a dynojet dyno would read at least 5bhp higher on our bikes.... But we then got interupted and i didn't manage to get the reason behind the statement, so it's is not a fact but a comment from someone who has been in the industry for a while.
