Re: My poorly vtr
I think it was running lean from what kev said I will take the front cam cover off tomorrow and have a look and see the coralation between the 2 cylinders. Im hoping it is the timing in a way so I can sort it myself otherwise its going back and I will be in the market for another storm or maybe an sp1 lol
Re: My poorly vtr
And here lays the problem because if it is 180 degrees out the front will have cams pointing up and out as normal. It looks correct. This I think is why even some Honda mechanics get it wrong. From rear compression TDC with cam lobes as described by Carl yu should be moving the engine 1 and1/4 turns and the front should then be at TDC compression with both cams up but pointing up and out.
If it is the cam timing then adjust by 180.
