are they supposed to direct airflow onto the rads?

Mmmm Not sure about them. I think the Carbon would look better on a Black bike.
I'm taking a guess that they are a Ducati part?

It is a good idea but they do they dont flow with confused of the bike properly.

I would like to see a side on pic rather than slightly angled. They are kind of interesting and are most certainly a little bit different. Nothing to do with airflow but they follow the curvature of the tank nicely and hide the gap.

I looked at those a while back (made in Japan by a company whose name eludes me, possibly A-tech?) but finally decided agaisnt them.......

They are A-tech from Japan.
I will be changing the bike colour and even part of the colour of these.
I wanted to fill the 'gap' in on the trailing edge of the fairing but not convinced.

Yes standing up whilst riding does get tiring on a road bike!
I'll take a better pic once bike back together including belly pan and front mudguard!

That's one way to tone those bums and tums
It's looking good though I like the wheels and swinging arm you'll have fun trying to keep those clean
