Chainsaw Oil
Chainsaw Oil
I've been given a 4 Litre container of chainsaw oil. It's non-fling like bike chain oil and has properties for protecting metal links. Is it ok to use on a bike chain and will it be as good?

Re: Chainsaw Oil
yeh mate, i used to use it in my scottoiler.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: Chainsaw Oil
Clean the chain first with kerosene, then dry it & apply the oil I usually use a syringe for controlled application. I then wipe off the excess & seal it in with a good wax spray. Good for 600 miles. Living proof as I'm still on my first chain & sprockets & not had to adjust for over 2 years. Mind u I'm not a back wheel rider

Sounds positive. I'll use it then. And I like that idea of sealing it in with the wax.
