What's the consensus on build quality for kwikasfuki's from the 1990-ish (give or take 2 years) era? no reason for asking

Edit: nothing like that ck. I can afford vtr insurance easily, just gotta stop buying xbox games out of boredom :ball kick: though that was due to a complete lack of fecking internet

What's wrong with the hornet for winter ?

Don't get a choice in which it is. It is one of the two, his mate isn't replying but we know it's one of them.

Hornet would be ideal for winter, however it's been agreed since I got the vtr (it was my idea) that dad will have the hornet after my year is up. Partly because although triumph build quality has greatly improved, his 1050 sprint is certainly no honda. Plus I know people my age with 400's. He has the same bike as his dad, but resricted to 33... they did a drag race and there was like 2 seconds in it over a mile, he can still do 135 on it easily. 400's don't restrict... and it will stop me ripping the vtr apart and killing myself, having something with 60bhp

Gpz would be the better of the two through winter and they are a good little work horse .
Which ever one you get don't restrict it :-)

Either are good, build quality not up there with the best though.
These are cracking little bikes before Kawasaki went a bit dull before fighting back in the millennium.

Not going to. My dad and brother agreed to my protest! Because they know it does wombles all

Gpz costs £200 more on insurance, but has a fuel gauge. But zxr is cheaper, no fuel gauge, but bloody rapid! I'll be fine either one. It's a solution that pleases me

Decided I'm gonna buy it ASAP if I can. Someone convince me it's a bad idea so I can save myself from death? Also, is it possible to get new keys crafted for the ignition and stuff? How much roughly would it cost, or would I need to fork out my lungs to find an ignition barrel for one?

You will need to buy a full lock set for it (get on eBay when you know what one your getting .
What condition is it in ?
