Had problem today
Storm running erratic, misfiring ,getting power surges,. it finally gave up and wont start at all now. on various forums people have come up with the rectifier being the problem. when you press start button ,the starter relay clicks but bike wont start. the rectifier was extremely hot when i checked.
i plan to replace the rectifier and have been told that a CBR 125 is compatible.
would appreciate your help on solving this problem guys
cheers

Re: Help
Get a meter on it, here's a good guide to help identify the problem http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/acatalog ... G-&-RR.pdf once you know which it is you can replace that part. Sometimes you'll need both though.
The RR is supposed to get hot, it's why they have fins to help them cool a bit.
