Re: going away from motorbikes
Now that is a cool pic I'm just trying to work out the breed of dog I think I can see a bit of Brindle Bullmastiff in there but then the long has got me, so I'm thinking he's a cross but still don't know with what or even if I'm right to begin with.

First dog is a ringer for TV " scooby doo".. plus I am very glad its a frontal
shot and the mut was not photographed intimately rear ended as a previous recent
post I recently viewed... har ... . looks a lurvely mut...
they all look nice muts though ... muts are nice
animals,,, its the crazed owners who mistreet them and drive them bonkers thats
the problem..

You don't know how happy it makes me to hear that. No such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners and media sh1t stirring.

Re: going away from motorbikes
it really makes my blood boil people that mistreat dogs and animals in general! stan & poppy are both rescue dogs poppy was in a very bad way when we got her she had a very bad case of mange that her previous owners had left until it was that bad they couldnt pay for the treatment and just let her go stray! if they had of taken her to the vets when they first seen she had a problem it would have cost about £50 at a good vet but it ended up costing £750 to get her right.

Cannot agree any more with this. The dog we got when I was 2-3 years old (I obviously can't remember. All I know is my first memories are playing with him) and who got put down shortly before I turned 17, was a Cairn-Terrier crossed with a Jack Russell. When we got him he was a right aggressive little wombles, because they're both kinda hunting dogs I think. Getting rabbits and stuff, but he didn't know it was wrong because you could easily fit him into your pocket at that age. We got him as soon as we basically could, as he grew older we taught him it was bad. By the time he was about 6 he was the softest, most pathetic dog in the world until he felt himself or one of us were in danger, and he would basically go schitz to protect us. God I loved that dog.
So yeah, it's all about training. If you don't show the dog that you are the boss, you will never have control over it.
I shall see if I have any photo's of the adorable arsehole
