Proper angle, proper length. Looks like a different bike.

That's better!
You don't see many Jardine ones around either. Are you going to put a PC on it and get a custom map too?

I like to think of it as a "gentle nudge" in the right direction........cheekykev wrote:Arn't you glad we all pushed you into it now

And Pete, it has a PC fitted, just have to change the map to the one in the database. Should be a good enough baseline for now

Re: SP project to date......
mine were like that on my sp1.... very annoying when you try to move about on the pegs on bends as your heel touches the guard on the pipes (and melts a rubber scab on it)turbo_billy wrote:It`s the link pipes that put me off too. If they were something like you have on the Storm Kev then maybe, but they are too sharp with 90 degree bends......and just sitting on the bike your heels catch on the pipes.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Well guys I agree that the high levels dont look great and the original link pipes look better, however the irony is that the WSB bike used high level cans

Ps a very good reason to show a very beautiful bike

Of course the difference is he didn't have to clean the burnt rubber off the link pipes & he didn't have to pay for his boots either !

Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
Re: SP project to date......
I wonder if it's running high levels for aerodynamic purposes. You think how far the exhaust pulses shoot out the rear which can have an affect on the air/gases travelling over the top. If the exhaust was pointing more upward and the end cap was not angled correct then the gases would go upward witch takes away from the teardrop shape aerodynamics.

Re: SP project to date......
also if you look at billy,s the "up" bit actually points forward a lttle bit . I think that's why his bike looked a minger/weird in its previous existence but now looks the dogs b

Re: SP project to date......
It`s been a while since anything has happened but had some time on my hands this week..........
MOT this morning followed by trip to the PO for tax and she is ready to go
Still a few bits to do but stuff it for now, this sunshine is too rare to miss out on.
On the road at last. None to shabby so far if I do say so myself.......
