Easy to do ! Thought someone might ask so i took a couple of pics :
No need to remove the fairing, obviously easier if you have it removed for other work, etc

Carefully prise up one top clip and pull out

Same again on the second clip, push the frame down gently and unclip from lower lugs, carefully manouver frame through rad hole

Cut mesh to size before . . .

prising open frame with small bladed screwdriver, once done refit frame with new mesh and recrimp ( i used vice jaws )

Refit opposite to removal. Doddle !

Cheers for that Yellafella, you are right they are bright, as I like you have got them on the rear also. I'm having the same thought's as you though, do I fit flush mounts or Micro Arrows, as we said in a previous thread, in the mirror bodies would be the answer, yellafella wrote:Correct chris . Micro arrows. Long stem front and short on the rear. Didnt fancy flush mounts, not too visible ! These are bright too !

I decided to go with micro led ones as I couldnt see the flush mounted ones very well from the front.

The back ones look fine, the front a little strange but they are very bright and can be seen from miles away.

Thanks Max for that. Did you need resistors to stop them flashing to fastMax wrote:I decided to go with micro led ones as I couldnt see the flush mounted ones very well from the front.

There is a problem with the rear light as its LED it doesnt have a number plate light yet. Number 4067 on my jobs to do list.
BTW its long stems on the front of mine and short on the back. I have had to move the back ones since as I put high levels on and now they are on brackets to lift them up a bit. The mot man said they werent visible from behind
