Pads and screen???

Post by Teach72 »

Have the 2000 yellow Anne fancy a new screen. Not sure to go black, iridium, or yellow? Any pics of your or thoughts on makes would be great.

Also tank pads I like the look of the vtr specific. Tankpad Motografix 3D Gel Protection but again ideas and thoughts would be great.

Thanks in advance

Light tint so you can see through it when you hook a long one
Iridium and coloured went out about 10 years ago don't do it

That's just what I need to know as my taste is back there. I liked the iridium screens and I e not really seen a coloured one!

I had an iridium screen a couple of years ago, on the right colour bike it looks good. personally i'd go for a light tint double bubble or flip up, fabbri are one of the best...
the cheap £20 screens aren't very good, with poor fit and thin plastics, you get what you pay for.

I was pleasantly surprised how good Chric's Red screen looked on his Red Storm. I must say it looks better on the bike than did off.

At the end of the day it comes down to personal taste. As for Tank Pads I'm a fan of the HRC ones.

Full black screen on a yellow bike

I fitted clear stopgrips on my tank and they are a great addition....but I kind of wish I had fitted black ones now!
They don't do a specific set for the storm, but their universal tank pads work just fine

Gareth, it's yellow mate!!! A tarpaulin over it is the only way to improve it! I know where you can get some nice blue paint, local as well.

I love the yellow it allows every to with reduced senses to know I'm there! The deaf will see me from a mile away while the blind will hear the micron exausts from a mile away also. 8)
