little video on first start up after 3 weeks in garage I can here a little rattle is that the cct?

The VTR's auto CCTs are binary - they either work or they don't. When they don't there's a noise like a bucket of nuts & bolts in a cement mixer.

As a precautionary measure best change to manuals or at minimum do the stopper mod.

Check the workshop knowledgebase.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

you do also get rattles from the clutch, does the noise quieten down when you pull the clutch in?
as wicky says, fit manual cct's......its the most important thing to do.... :thumbup:

From that clip it sounds fine but very difficult to fully confirm unless actually there. These bikes do make lots of peculiar noises & don't use a stethoscope on the motor as it will give you nightmares as to what you will hear. As agent said in the previous post the clutch can rattle as mine does. Is the bike warm on that clip or cold will have a bearing on noise & also when did you last do an oil change??

I agree with Wicky, if you're still using the standard CCT's best to rectify that sooner rather than later, whether you have a rattle from one now or not.

I couldn't hear anything to worry about in the video clip either, but then again most of the engine noise was drowned out by the lovely sounding cans 8)
