Re: no enjoyment?
Waffle on lol .
When I loose interest in riding my interest in tinkering awakens so I'm never far away from the bike .
I did have 6 years away from them after a big off and I when through many pills the doctor gave me but the only cure was to get back into bike .
A short brake can do wonders

my thoughts entirely, if I had to ride through towns a lot I would probably get shot of the bike. an early morning or just before dusk thrash along known favourite roads soon gets your juices flowing again.
I have on occasion gone out planning to do 50 or 60 miles and come back after about 15 minutes cos things did net feel right.

Re: no enjoyment?
I think I have been through 3 or 4 of these cycles, my fire storm stood for 4 yrs without benign used as I got into enduro then trials, but now hose bikes are stitting under covers and I enjoying road riding more than I think I ever did ( that's 35yrs riding!).
Give it time and don't expect every ride to be epic....and riding other bikes can keep your interest alive.
As for the early start...yes that is a good way to find the roads a bit less clogged. last ride out for me was 2 weeks ago Saturday morning.. Out at 6am home by 11 and done 250 miles in Wales...on my own, only stopped for petrol, didn't talk to anybody and I was as happy as a pig in sh1t

Re: no enjoyment?
Thanks guys, nice to know that I'm not alone with the thoughts, it crossed my mind momentarily to sell it but I know I would regret it for every sunny day after
I think that possibly having no money spare didn't help, as driving lessons cost a fortune!
I've got my bikesafe day next month so hopefully I will learn new ways to enjoy other parts of my riding
