Ride to Hungary in October

Post by Image »

I'm riding to Hungary in October to visit an ex-storm owner who used to be on this forum. Anyone want to come along? Passing through France, Belgium, Austria. 1,300 miles over 3 days. Taking ourtime and seeing thesights onthe way.

I may very well be up for this :)

It's not Lesley you're going to see is it?

Unfortunately not enough holiday left to do this, using up most of what I have left going to the South of France next Monday. 2 weeks and a round trip of 2500mls. can't wait to get away.
Make sure you get some good pics though, would love to go there one day.

Next year we have not yet made our minds up on either Germany or Scotland....want to do both but can't.. :?

Yes, slower110, it is Lesley and Yan. A few of us are riding there as a holiday. My other half is catching a plane there with some others but a few of us couldn't resist the excuse to ride there via France, Belgium, Austria. It'll be an awesome adventure. Will stop for the night in Belgium and Austria but will also have a wander around anywhere on the way that takes our interest. No rush. Lesley did it in 24 hours so we should be able to do it at leisure over 72 hours and enjoy a few places (and beers) on the way.

Hi Image, I'm new to the Forum & my VTR.

I had planned to ride round the Pyrenees this Autumn with a friend, but due to other commitments he can no longer make it.

I'd be very keen to join you on your trip, I think it looks like a great route & would be nice to share my dismal tank range with someone!

If 'strangers' are welcome, I'm in!

Regards, Jamie
