Never tried them but you don't get alot for your money. Expensive set of spacers & clamps

i have used these and they do work. some time ago my mate had a vfr 750 with these on and didn't like them so he took them of and gave them to me i stuck them in my tool box and forgot about them then after about a year i got my self a cbr1000f and put these on it felt a lot moor upright so yer they do work but as said it is a lot of money for what you get these are cheaper http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H-BAR-RISERS- ... 153wt_1255 and do the same thing

You take you bars off, then these slide over the forks in place of the bars, then the bars go back on.

I had a set used them for a while & took them off. They do what it says on the tin but when fitted your bars will be only half way on, if that makes sense.

The round caps you see in the picture cover the gaping hole that is there ! You wont be able to see your fork tops & adjusters.

If you have standard break lines they are at full stretch you have to undo the the little clamp the clamps the lines to the headstock, even then they are on the tight side.

IMO not the best solution to the problem. Bars from a latter bike will sit higher (Carl has a set on his ) Bars from a VFR are higher. Both are a bit harder to find however.

i had them on my cbr1000f for about 6 month and had no problems at all and im not a light bloke at 24st

Said it before, but why spend all that money on spacers when you can move the bars up to any height you want and reclamp them with out posh spacers!

Just make a block of something as a setting piece to get them both the same height and set the rotation angle by eye based on the gap to the fairing and tank being even....job done and money saved

I think the grow longer arms option is the best, many thanks though, iam old at 55 and the austria trip was great but i did ache a bit each morning!!!

i do love the bike though so cant sell it. Thanks for all the chat on them, i just cant face cutting the fairing either!!!

Sort of, you can't trust registrations as you still get early ones that are just late registered. But later models have 19l tank with Honda wings, different clocks etc, but more importantly the bars are Black which is one way of distinguishing them from the early ones and they have a 7 degree rise more than the early ones.

Well at £96 they wernt cheap BUT bugger they did work for me on the French trip, best £100 ive spent really
