What would you use to spray the side casings with?

I did mine with black engine enamel paint. Looked almost original. The black had a very slight 'sparkle' to it, so it didn't look flat matte black. Just gave it 2 very light coats and it looked good.

It wasn't artex, they were pebbledashed and double glazed :D

VHT products used to be good when it came to heat resistant spray can paint, I don't know what they are like now, have a look here:-
