Thank god we still have freedom of choice. I can see this being taken away from us in the near future
but nice to be reminded of the consequences.

Wouldn't more or less everything sting in a bath of vinegar?Jazzscot wrote:oops bet that will sting in a bath of vinegar.

Looks grim though. If only people would stop doing it, there's a GSXR 1000 I see through rugby and on my way to work sometimes. He undertakes me (every time..) on the dual carriageway at like 100mph in shorts, t-shirt and ankle high boots... It actually makes me feel sick

Jeans are alright, for short journeys but... Why would you wear a t-shirt?

Re: Damaged biker
yes, wear a long sleeved shirt, that will at least cover the skin graftsVirt wrote:Jeans are alright, for short journeys but... Why would you wear a t-shirt?

and Jeans are feck all use in a crash, they just add cotton to the gravel in your wounds

Ah we are back to the regular summer discussion on attire. A Gentleman should never be seen in anything but a G string, galoshes, gauntlets, ex WD rubber mac and flying helmet.
I can see the relevance of the immortality theory, IE if you wear a full complement of kit you believe you will be protected in any eventuality, however ride naked and you are fully aware of the outcome of any woes that befall you. I don't advocate naked riding (well not the bike, sorry motorbike! anyway) but jeans, jacket etc. have their place as long as you moderate your exuberance.
During the recent warm season I have taken to riding in a Belstaff jacket, jeans, gloves, boots and piss pot helmet with goggles, and most refreshing it is too.

Why did you forget to empty the piss pot again before donning...?Kev L wrote:Ah we are back to the regular summer discussion on attire. A Gentleman should never be seen in anything but a G string, galoshes, gauntlets, ex WD rubber mac and flying helmet.
