cb1300 wheels

Post by lanny »

Will SP2 and possibly CB1300 wheels fit the SP1 ?
I have noticed that CB1300 wheels look identical to SP2 wheels, does anyone know if they are the same ?
I like the gold wheels on the cb1300 and wonder if they would fit an SP1, although I don't think the abs wheels will .

I like the cb13 5 spokes wheels I've asked a local beakers to lend me a set if he ever gets a set in so I can have a play :-)

SP1 and SP2 wheels are interchangeable, no worries

As for the CB wheels, I don't know but would assume it is set up to run the smaller 25mm axle so you might need to source bearings and possibly spacers.

Apart from that, they look pretty much identical, so it's entirely possible that they are so, despite different part-no... I'd say it's highly likely, as Honda is known to re-use things...

Front disc size. As near as dammit 315mm. Again, to be spot on wheel needs removing.
Disc spacing; (between the discs) Inside to inside 132mm

Rear
Outside Sprocket to out side disc. 210mm
Spindle size. 22mm measured at threaded end
Inside disc to wheel Centre. 74mm ish. and the same with sprocket . 116mm ish.
Please no rush tho .
Awkward to be absolutely bang on with dimensions without removing the wheels, but these will be very close.
