Good news Ady

I want to get a course done too. Maybe we could meet up and do ours on the same day with the same cop? Might make it a bit more interesting? What you think?

And don't worry, we are all allowed to rant a bit from time to time

I think with our recent loss it's got most of us thinking about things, the dangers we face and the way we ride. A change of bike wont fix that, but time and thinking about things will.

Ady, Glad your keeping it too, I believe certain bikes seem to fit certain personalities, as for a VTR...tag your it! wise words from Cybercarl recent events are making me "think twice" especially when out and about

Ady I've kept out of this partly because I've been in Ireland for a few days and partly because you've needed to work it out for yourself.
But I rode with you on the Yorkshire run and it would be a shame to lose a good rider to a wobble.
We all felt it when we lost one of our own,but that, to my mind, won't change who I am and how I live my life. And that includes which bike I choose to ride, and even how I ride it.
Sure, I'll ease of for a few days, but when it feels right I'll be ragging it again.
But I wouldn't want it any other way.
You'd be just as dangerous on a ped, you'd just try harder. So choosing a smaller bike won't make a difference.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

nice one ady.

And well said carl, tony et al - I'm sorting of going through same. I haven't ridden the bike in a month or so because of what's happened/happening with the wife, losing benny and I have no money. You get to think "is it worth it", so i start the bike and listen. That sound tells me the mojo will return, I can't force it, but it will return. enjoy wales ady and all the rest of you, wish I could rumble along with my mojo in tow

Glad you mentioned the chopper :biggrin A mate was in a similar position several years ago. He figured that if he sold his Ducati and got a Harley that would slow him down.

Well, it worked for a while, then thinking about other things he forgot what he was riding and threw the Harley into a roundabout like he did the Duke :eek2

He still looked pale a week later!
