I even changed the diode in the fusebox to rule that out.

I know how you feel and when you find the problem you'll think 'of course why didn't I check that first'. It'll probably be something simple just go through it logically, you've got fuel, you've got a spark, you've got compression and its turning over. Is there enough fuel or too much. Is the spark a good spark and is it firing at the correct time. Is there enough compression. Is it turning over fast enough. It's easy to get bogged down and forget the basics, I know, I've been there and probably will again

One way of ruling out a fuelling issue is to waft some easy start down it, if it fires/runs or tries at least you know it's a fuel problem. Don't go mad with the stuff just give it a little squirt whilst turning it over you'll need to take the air filter out first and don't worry about the old wives tales about it knackering engines and engines becoming 'addicted' to it. We use it at work for for situations like this, just a quick way of checking that's all

firstly the bike isn't a monster............
yes we have encountered many problems, some of them of our own making, but most of them stem from the bike being in fairly poor condition when i bought it back in 2010, what do you expect for £710.
the bike has little history and you are inheriting many problems, from poor mantaince to worn out parts and bodge repairs, over the last 6 months we have made very good strides in returning this bike back to being a reliable and useable steed. just recently it did the return trip to the dyno day in birmingham and the trip to liverpool without any problems.
yes mine and carls patiance is running out, or run out depending on how you look at it. but i still have love for the bike and i'm still convinced it will make someone a very good bike.
well thats if will can get the ferking heap of sh1t running.............

and me putting 2 bolts onto the bikes rear subframe haven't effected anything, as the bike wouldn't start prior to my fiddling.......

don't know mate, it hasn't moved since it was left out side mine shortly after a full throttle ragging all the way to & from Liverpool, with full on drag starts from every set of lights, & a full on 10 min burn out on the limiter just down the road from me driveway. Compression was good, when we tested it at the dyno day, and before i left for spain the bike posted very strong figures at my local dyno garage. i'm stumped........ :confused
Changed it for you...

Sounds about right :-)
Tony is used to a yellow one and they are considerably faster than a blue one
