Yep as I'm having to drip feed it oil ATM :-( but wait till next year when it has the mc'engine in it (from a red one) so it will be supersonic in 2 seconds :-)darkember wrote:Well everything will be faster that the green onelloydie wrote:Sounds about right :-)
Tony is used to a yellow one and they are considerably faster than a blue one![]()

if its from the red/black bike, i think the more important figure is supersonic to 0 in zero seconds........

Lol yep that one but he had the galaxy drive on ,onto into you want to put what where !
Re: bike won't start
It behaved perfectly on the funeral run, once I'd bolted the numberplate on, started on the button, didn't miss, fuelling wasn't perfect but near enough to ride, can't think what this might be.
Side stand is the logical culprit but I always thought that cut the ignition so you wouldn't get a spark....
The sidestand switch rarely fails entirely, it just gets enough slack in teh pivot so that the switch cuts connectivity at times (usually over a bump) or permanently. The easy way to check is to take it apart, clean it and operate it by hand when off the sidestand.
You should be able to meter it for connectivity.
I'm away at Beautiful Days festy this weekend or would offer to have a look for you.

Re: bike won't start
all sorted.....
me and the cyberman fitted a new loom(sebs old loom), which also includes a datatool alarm which was nice.........
we had to stop halfway thru after hearing a massive crunch from outside the back door, it turns out one of my neighbours had rear ended the car in front of him whilst trying to park his people carrier, he hit it so hard he ended up smashing 3 cars, as he forced one into the other and so on, the last car that was hit stopped less than an inch from the back tyre of carls bike....
that was lucky for carl, if we hadn't have rushed out, the fella would have walked off without telling anyone, in the end he left notes on the cars windscreens.
the major downside is the last car to get shunted forward is now across my nans back door, so I can't even take the bike out for a ride...
if it isn't moved tomorrow i'll have to contact the police to get it moved, i'll doubt they'll be in a rush to move it tho....

So did you find anything wrong with the old one ?
As for the car in the way...put the window through & take the handbrake off & push it...simples.

Would be interesting to find out what bit failed on the old loom for future reference

we never stripped the loom to find the problem, our money is on the wires going into the top ecu box, because it was unattached and bouncing around the undertray, we think the wires going into were damaged.
as for the car blocking the back gate, in the accident the front wheels have been turned inwards toward the wall, so even putting the window thru wouldn't help, as the steering lock will prevent me from steering the car out of the way.....
