But a stopper mod would still me a Honda auto so where do they get the manual automatic from. It's like Tweety said Manual means manual... Pure and simple.. or vica versa, you can't have both in one item. :confused I bet that is all it is, a slight re-design of the spring by adding a smaller spring inside to stiffen it up or act as a backup in case one fails. Put it in a different casing (the German one is shorter) and market it off as a manual automatic and charge silly money for it. It would be interesting to get one and open it all up. Shame they are so expensive :(

Anyway back the OP. Our advice to you is to either go with the full Manuals or fit new Genuine Honda ones with the Stop mod done on them. As Stratman says, the adjustment on the manuals is not an issue . They require adjusting roughly every 15,000 to 20,000 miles. Basically the best time to adjust them is when it's the service interval time for doing valve clearances. I think where the problem arises with manuals is where people don't fit and adjust them right to begin with. They then start hearing noises that where not there in the first place or start to hear other engine noises like valves or something as they are paying more attention now, panic, and start playing with the adjustment. Check out the guide for installing manuals in my signature. Or if you would prefer to go the stop mod route then use the following.

Looking at the c pin in the side I would say that is has been ratcheted as my brothers look very similar and he has the mkII Suzuki SV650 cct(sprung with a ratchet)

so the cost would be to include the ratchet pin in the body and machining the ratchet grooves in the plunger.
