Glad we are not on an early start today as its pissing down here this morning. Forecast says it will clear up before lunch, so I hope that's true.

If it's any help, it's dry and bright here in Tadcaster.

Hoping it stays dry :)

Me and Helen just arrived at B and B. Seems ok. Went to Tan Hill for late lunch. Red light was on before we got there. Did 21 miles with it on. 141 on that tank. Thought it was going to run out. Sunny and dry at moment, see what tomorrow brings.

Just back home from this - sadly the weather in the morning put a bit of a dampener on things... The wife and I travelled down from Paisley, but by the time we reached Ayr, we were both soaked through! When the group set off, you could tell within a few hundred yards she wasn't up for the cup... she knew it herself, so after a quick chat in a layby, she was dispatched to the parents house to warm up and dry off while I tried to chase down this lot!

A couple of pics from Girvan:

Unsurprisingly for the Scottish weather, by the time we left Prestwick to head home, the sun was out and splitting the sky. Glorious!

Was great to meet you all and put some faces to the names, hopefully next time you make it up this neck of the woods we'll be able to come for a longer run!

Safe travels south!
