Orange screen for Orange storm. It looks like a half decent screen as well, but not entirely sure.

Yes please!
How do they work in layman s terms?
When I took my bike test my instructor was missing his left leg and had a button activated pneumatic gear changer, I quite fancy one of those!

A quick shifter?
It's simply a timed cut in the sparks, and you adjust it so that it's a long enough delay that you can allow the next gear to slot in on the way up.
You'll destroy the box if you try to use it on the way down!
But it means you can lazily not bother shutting the throttle and winding it back on again.
I'll be using an HM one on the rebuild.
The HM one is a strain gauge type, which means it only operates when you have a turning moment effect on the gearchange shaft, measured on the rod between the lever and the arm on the gearbox shaft.
Not to be confused with the pneumatic ones used on a drag bike, which just mash the box into the next gear.... Effective, but not long lasting.
Quicker, though.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)
Try clutch less up shifting -then when you get the hang of that fit a quick shifter as it will make it easier to get used to . I had one like Tony's on my cbr600 it's a nice toy but unless your racing on the track or drag racing not much point
Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)
Thanks!
I like the idea of this.
So this one on eBay will cut the spark so you can keep it pinned, if the HM one measures the movement of the shaft what tells this one to cut in?
The pneumatic one must be terrible for the gearbox! My big foot does a lot of mashing too though ;)
