Cush drive rubbers... If they are worn would they give the feeling of play through the chain as you let the clutch out? As if the chain & sprockets are turning a couple of degrees before the drive reaches the wheel?

missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
Re: Chain and sprockets
Who mentioned Cush drive.
I don't think mine are too bad really. Nothing that warrants buying new ones anyway. If I need to and there is any wear in the blocks, I shall just pack them out with some plastic.

Hahaha I might try and stuff some pants & socks in the gaps! It's worked in the past
Since I've renewed my C&S's it feels like my Cush drive rubbers are worn
the bump is there too off the throttle, thanks for confirming. Will change them soon.

Re: Chain and sprockets
buy the best you can (oem) as they will last a lot longer than the cheaper crap .
i brought mine from honda for my blade and did 5k on them and fitted the old ones when it went.
i then fitted them in the vtr and now 15k later they are still good .
so for an extra £10-15 its worth it .

Re: Chain and sprockets
Ok cheers, makes sense to go for originals. I'll have to wait till after op storm though as I've just brought air filter & plugs
Funny, I didn't notice the worn feeling before I changed C&S's... ??

Try shimming the cush rubbers with cut up placcy from ice cream containers (benny tip no. 48)

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I do like the rolly eyes emotion, but I don't use emotions appropriately half the time. You've heard of trigger happy, i'm smiley happy
No offence meant wicky. I added it because I mentioned using plastic earlier.
