Roger is a true gem, we are very fortunate that he has so much experience on our beloved Firestorms, a VTR Guru. He has helped me out in the past on several occasions, either via email or the phone. I think you'll be surprised how different your bike will be to ride once you get the reworked forks back and get out on the road,

That's where the forks for my next build are going.. For the works including the secret stuff. Only option with getting the best out of them me thinks when it comes to having the forks done.
Why ask... sometime you just go to do it and find out?

I guess I talked with Roger on a bad day.....

It was back when I was getting ready to lighten my flywheel so I shot off a email to him asking about the specs.

The reply I received was that he was no longer giving out any information as it just ended up on the net.

Though he would send the info to Dan Kyle if I could arrange that.

Of course about a month later, I saw a post from someone else stating they had asked him the same question and received the specs and yes they did post them on the forum.

At that point I had already talked with Bob H. and had my flywheel done to the Moriwaki specs.

So like I said I might have just caught him on a bad day as he does have a very good rep....or he just doesn't like 'Mericans.....lol

It is good to see how active he is on this forum and the info he has posted here.

I couldn't say if you caught Roger on a bad day, all I know is he has been very helpful to me in the past.

I doubt it's got anything to do with not liking Americans :)

IMHO Roger is good enough to help individual's here and there and in most cases AFAIK without charge or any benefit to himself.
You have to ask yourself, if you were running a business and had put in endless hours of R & D to produce an upgrade or modification, would you be prepared to give this information away for free when you are trying to make a living from that business :?:

Okay rant over
