BLUEFLAMES

Post by EGG »

I bought a set of Hi Level Twin Port Titaniun Blueflame Race Cans for £550 a couple of years ago. Had a few problems with the link pipes but they look and sound great so i kept them. Now having been busy at work and being away quite often i have only done about 4000 miles in that time so when me gets half way to Donny last weekend and some old boy walks over to me in the garage and says 'your left hand can wobbles alot' imagine my face on a closer look finding out that the pipe that goes into the can itself has snapped!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke to Blueflame last Monday told them about it and they said don't worry it's covered by their lifetime garantee. So i wrote a snotty letter and sent them last Friday.
Got a call today from the boss at Blueflame letting know that they had got my cans today and thrown them in the bin and are sending me a brand new set of EVO's in the morning.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Somehow i don't think many other companies would do that.

I've heard this sort of thong from other people who have had dealings with Blue Flame. They sound like a company that stand by what they say. It very refreshing in this day and age. Normally companies try and wriggle out. Credit where credit is due.

Yeah i think it's great, however i am thinking of getting rid. Always liked the idea of single side can or underseat system.

I did see you'd got them up for sale/exchange. I think the under seat has IMO got to be the best looking set up. With a single can set up I would have thought a bigger diameter pipe would have been appropriate to compensate for only having one, but it seems people who have that set up don't use a larger dia pipe which must IMO restrict the engine, IE change the characteristics of the torque out put, just a thought :!:

Thats good to hear as i just bought a set off of fleabay on sunday night.
typical though, i wanted a set for the three years i've had the bike and never thought about actually buying them, then a set goes up for swap and your thread starts the day after i buy mine.
