I watched them in Blackpool last month and in Nuneaton .
Always reminds me of being a little kid as we used to always go to sir shows .
We had the Lancaster and spitfire and hurricane land and refill at cov last month and it was nice as I'm on the flight path

I'm a bit bored of the Red Arrows as I've seen them so many times and the display is always the same or very similar. Did they give you the big heart. I do admire their skills though and it's nice to be able to watch them outside of all the crowds.
The WW2 Memorial flight is one of my favourites and then off course the noise of Typhoons or Tornado's but they too fast to see really, especially the Typhoons.

Nice photos Carl, I'm also a little indifferent when it comes to watching them after seeing the display so many times, but one thing that always impresses me is the outline of the Eurofighter Typhoon they do, they even get the flight characteristics spot on with the 'draggy' tail and canard effects.

I snapped the heart on my phone last time I saw them.

I thought I had the Heart on pic somewhere but it must be on some of my video footage. I watch them at the Dawlish Airshow. One can get almost level with the low flying stuff.

Talking about love hearts. The night before I got married the Mrs her mum and dad and I were out in the wilds of northern Sweden scooting about on snowmobile `s when we saw a strange looking cloud.

Was it a sign?

Of course it was.

Seen them a few times now, every year for a while I think at either airshows or even at chatsworth country fair

I never ever seem to get bored of watching them

did any of you go to RIAT this year at fairford?

Never been to RIAT but looks good from the Youtube vids. I seem to get off more on the noise rather than pretty patterns. I would love to hear a plane break the sound barrier but they are not allowed over land. I would love to go to Warrington and stand underneath the planes as they land or visit that airport next to the beach where you get blown away by the jetwash. What a buzz!! And I love the smell of aviation fuel.
