Shouldn't do. The bar angle was changed for comfort not to accommodate the different tank.

You will need the following though.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOOK-HONDA-VT ... 19e1a3c05e
Have you got the spigot/elbow on the bottom of the tank.

Already fitted with Vara tap. Fella is sending me the t-piece as well. Had a long chat on the phone with him and he never had any issues.

The tap is neither better or worse, just convenience to stop the fuel flow if removing the tank, though if the vacuum diaphragm is removed with the tank then no fuel pisses out. So what are you going to do about the diaphragm on there now or are you going to put a fuel pump on. You wont be able to use the diaphragm that you have now unless you find a way of blocking the hole where it connect to the tank and then have it hanging loose or find a way of mounting it somewhere, that's why I gave you the link above. The only other option is to just let the fuel gravity feed into the carbs. Not sure if that is the best option really.

well that's another thing altogether hahahahaha..... :shh:

and for what carl said about gravity feeding the fuel, I talked to benny about it and he said he just let his gravity feed using a 10mm i.d fuel line, and he never had any problems....

I have no idea what youre on about lol

I will hardly ever remove my fuel tank, cct's and dynojet maybe, thats it, so on the rare occasion it isnt a hardship to make sure its not full.

Doesn't the vacuum on the standard tap just open it and gravity take care of the rest anyway ??
