No bullshit.

I am 19stone, and saw a definite 161 on the clocks. It was maxed out, I held it for a couple of miles.

Think 10% is about right from putting my gps on it, so somewhere between 145 and 150 is about right.

My bike is bog standard, and I think the extra rider weight makes it more stable as it could have sat there all day, rock solid. I was scared how easy it was.

Why? Because my mate with a blade 900 wanted to do top gear roll on comparison from 70, but the noob left it in 5th by mistake, so when I hit that (beat him to it btw) he knocked it up one and disappeared into the distance! A blade has quite a lot more top end than a storm!

I'm 6ft 2" used to be 13st but I've lost half a stone of muscle since giving up MX!

I might try and get down to 4 stone for some extra performance next summer! :D

Could you imagine how amazing the bike would perform if you weighed nothing!! Not sure how it would corner though?? :)

I weigh nothing and I can confirm it corners fine. I just can't accelerate on it

160 on my clocks a few times, obviously on a runway :shifty:

Had a mate following me on his TLR once and he said we where doing 165 on his clocks.

Probably 150 is the true speed.

Do you think that having a full fairing makes a difference?

Nudged an indicated 170 on dottinger hohe at nurburgring on my first storm, which had a 15t front, although I did then overshoot the pit entrance and cop a bollocking from the marshalls. This year in Germany me black storm was showing 150 with a top box and luggage, at which point the Tarmac changed and it went into a weave. The speedo error on the things is pretty severe, I'd be surprised if a storm hit much more than 150 on a good day, probably not even that much in fact.

Stock speedo managed an indicated 160. The aftermarket kosos rx2 speedo for which I measured the front wheel and calibrated it registered a top speed of 147mph, that's with 6 magnets so I'd say it was pretty accurate.
