what have you done to your "bike" today

hope you used red rubber grease on the seals.

it must off been the first time they have been off the bike .

CALIPER REASSEMBLY

Reassemble the caliper in the reverse order of disassembly. Pay
attention to the following points:
• Clean the caliper bores and pistons with specified brake fluid,
especially the dust seal grooves and piston seal grooves.

Specification and classification: DOT 4

* Clean the caliper components with fresh brake fluid
before reassembly. Never use cleaning solvent or
gasoline to clean them.
* Do not wipe the brake fluid off after cleaning the
components.
* When cleaning the components, use the specified
brake fluid. Never use different types of fluid or
cleaning solvent such as gasoline, kerosine or oth-
ers.
* Replace the piston seals and dust seals with the new
ones when reassembly. Apply the brake fluid to both
seals when installing them.


I normally coat seals in Vaseline but as it said brake fluid that's all i used this time

nothing to my bike as I don't own one atm....
but the nesting continues, with the help of the jackel, we managed to destroy a large raised flower bed and concrete over the hole that was left.....
even managed to get rid of my old work bench...(tall fridge freezer turned on its side)....
it spent 24hrs outside the back gate waiting for the council to take it away, only for a stranger to nab it instead....
I still have more nesting to do, erect a lean too and set a ground anchor into the....erm ground
not to mention blocking up two doors and cutting in a set of double doors, then Carlos's garage will be open for business....

I resurrected one of these a couple of years ago. Fuel pump was the issue there.
Pull the feed pipe off and switch on ignition, there should be a healthy flow, not a gravity-fed dribble.

Don't buy a Honda one, they're stupid money, any small petrol car one will do, as long as it's small enough.

I tried that...Fuel pumps pumping fine...Sooooo it's not that.

It has an alarm fitted which seems to work OK but I have a feeling it's not got a spark which may be down to the immobiliser.

Next job, whip a plug out & test for spark...

the fuel tanks come up a treat, after removing a nasty batman tankpad using a heat gun, I clay barred it, t-cut and waxed it.......top job...
