Post by TonyW650 »

Buell 1125R
EBR full racing ecu, 152bhp and 179 kg should be fun after market slipper clutch fitted, should be fun!
Going to bin the indicators last owner/only owner has stuck to front fairing.

That depends entirely on which storm you are comparing it too... I'm not that far of those specs...

That's what I thought. It's those great big side fairing bulges. For me it would look better with them removed, shift the front fairing/headlight surround back a bit, then a Mori style belly pan on and I think it would be well sorted.

Believe their ram scoops for the force air system. Plus the ecu and the other associated relays are hidden begind them.
Can get fairings for it but they are all carbon qnd very exspensive!
Ive been a buell fan for years, having had a few in the past, just wanted another and with harley killing buell off a few years back thought now was a good time before they creep up in price.
Ill let you know what it goes like when it gets dilivered next week.

Shame Hardley killed them off as they were on the cusp of great things, having broken free from the obligation to use the archaic Hog lump and enlisted Rotax's collaboration. Can't say I am enthralled by the looks of it (never been a fan of the ZTL front brake either, or his ideea of using the swingarm as a reservoir, seems poor Erik never heard about unsprung weight.....), but it should be a fun ride. Keep us posted (and congrats!) :)
