If you were near Manchester you could come here and help me pull this dog of a VTR to bits!! I mean, help me give my Storm some TLC...Ckennedy wrote:What's annoyed me today.... I'll get in from work around 18:15 after starting between 0600 - 0700, eat my dinner and then sit down a listen to music or the missus waffle on or just generally nothing. Feels like I'm wasting part of my life. Problem is I can not do any sports at the no due to my knee playing up again and has been for over a week (if its not better in 1.5 weeks in being referred back to the surgeon), do not have a shed/garage to get the bike stripped and a propper clean and do other bits and I don't really have any other hobbies. Just the bike really. Anyone else feel like this or is it just considered normal?
What's annoyed you today??

I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Problem with my knee is an on going problem I have now had for 12 years. No one knows what's wrong with it and when it feels like it it will play up, cause me a lot of pain and feel really stiff. This is the worst it has been for about 3 years. Also the longest it has played up for around 8 years so not good.
The wedding planning is the missus join not mine
At the moment my parents are looking into buying the house so nothing can be done yet. I have put the idea forward of a shed or I'll pay for a garage so I can have somewhere to put the bike but it will all take time.
Thank you for the offer Lloyd and I may take you up on it. Just not sure when I will be able to get down and actually work on the bike. Would like to b able to pop into the shed and do a little each night or a lot every other night or even just a lot every night
With my knee being the way it is it jut make everything else seem a lot worse than it probably is so I'm rather easy to wind up at the moment

All I can suggest is, wait untill you are married.....both knees will be hurting after a while from all the begging

and a whole shed load of other stuff

so one sore knee wont seem too bad

My own damn fault last night accidentally bit my inner cheek and due to blood thinners was spitting out huge slimy blood clots consistency of semi-stewed rhubarb. This morning looked like a zombie blood dribbling monster. Thank goodness I checked the mirror before going out...
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Scottish wombles Power! I left a flat a month or so ago and they owe me money. The final statement confirms this it even says, now get this, if you are in credit "we may give you a little back" - it's my money for wombles sake, I want it all back. Every avenue into their company is all about paying them, getting a new tariff, etc etc. I have rung and rung, tried to email, tried to complain and got nothing. today the phone queue was 2 hours and 20 minutes wait and I'm sure you pay hanging on the end of an 0845 number. You can get a callback for free, that never happened. They had my bank details and somehow they can take more if I owed them by direct debit, can't send it the other way. Hate the money grabbing wombles

All the posts in the racing section...MotoGP (spoiler) Moto2 (spoiler) BSB(spoiler)....
Now I watched all of them over the weekend, I paid a lot of attention & not once did I see any spoilers or any other aerodynamic device resembling a wing.

What's annoyed me today?
Bloody feet.
Specifically, my daughter's.
I asked for a little help tonight to pull down a small wall and a few lengths of fence panel, and she pulled the first bit of fence panel, attached to the wall, and a lump of wall fell off onto her foot. She said an unladylike word, which I had to look up.
She's off at Casualty atm, being poked at by NHS people.
The very first pull!
I had to do the whole bloody job by myself, when the wife came in I thought "Aha! Here's someone who can assist" but no, she wanted instead to drive the daughter to the hospital.
She (daughter) was perfectly happy crying, sitting in the conservatory with her foot in a bowl of iced water; she could have gone anytime.
So had a blazing row with the wife, which came to blows, only ending when she slapped me upside me head and I retaliated by kicking her firmly in the fanny.
She had the last laugh though, as I now think I may have trench foot.
Bugger.
