Variable stacks is still ongoing- I have some new stack heading in my direction, and there's a lot of airbox work to do first.
Ram air is still happening, I now have the rh side fairing and inner section which I needed to cut about in order to get air to the rad, once I redirect it through to the airbox.
The airbox size will increase as I'll be making a new tub sealed to the underside of the tank, with a completely different filter set vertically into the airbox roughly where the snorkel normally sits, no snorkel will be needed because the forward section, from headstock back, will become the new pre-filter stage, once fully sealed in around the plastic heat shield.
Now ram air adds some complication, as the effect when there is air pressure(higher speeds) is to add more air, and so the mixture becomes leaner. In order to try to compensate for that a little I have ordered a Flo-Commander, which will allow me to effectively adjust the main jet size with a control up near the clocks- so I'll be able to tweak it on the fly.
But back to the stacks, seems to me that with ram air fitted the lifting of the stacks can then be sorted- still haven't got a finished, built and tested lifting mechanism, but I'll probably lash together something mechanical for now, maybe using a lh twistgrip or perhaps operated via a thumb brake lever on the LH bar- just so that I can get it all running and dyno'd.
If it works, and seems worth keeping, I'll see if i can develop an automatic lifter, set to certain revs- but with a mechanical hand operated system I can decide what revs it should lift at.
So that's progress at the moment- parts being ordered and lots of planning being done, not much in metal and plastic for now, but soon, soon..........

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Bike is now in bits, various new trick bits have been acquired and are awaiting a good pimping, frame/forks/swingarm/subframe/wheels are going to be powder coated when I've prepared them. Will put it all back together with new bearings, bushes, greased, pimped, modded & ready for a good thrashing!

Say Hi to your Mum for me!!!!!
On the black beast, braced swingarm, harris rearsets, powdercoated forks with uprated springs, carbon belly pan, high rise pipes, carbon tank protector, undertray, 19ltr tank........think thats it
On the red beast, SSSA(fitted), upside down front end(fitted) harris rearsets, another 19ltr tank, undertray, carbon belly pan, high rise pipes..........bound to be more I've missed
