Not yet. Been too busy recently and can't afford the downtime on my laptop

I'll have a look tonight and probably sort it over the weekend I guess

Well I have installed Windows 8.1, not very impressed with one aspect, and that is, I had not been able to log-in to my email account outlook.com (was hotmail) if I used IE10. Not a huge problem I know, as I don't use IE10 very often. It was just bugging me as to why it wouldn't work when it did originally, and on and off over the last two weeks I finally fixed it two days ago, it was working perfectly.

Now since downloading and installing W8.1 which included IE11 we are back to square one  it won't work again, also carrying out what I did to fix it in IE10 doesn't fix the problem in IE11.

 that's why I don't use IE very often. The trouble is with me I'm my own worse enemy. Once I find something has failed I have to keep going until I find the problem, or in this case a fix, I can't seem to leave it alone  Mind you I am the same with a problem on my bike or any motor vehicle come to that, so perhaps that's good :)

One thing I didn't realise I needed to have handy for the W8.1 update was my Microsoft Account sign in details. I was panicking a little as I'd put those details safe somewhere :problem: In the end I did find them, but for some reason or another they didn't work. In the end I managed to finish the process without them.

I've fixed it again now :)

I don't know what you guys think, but it seems W8.1 takes longer to load than W8 did :?:

**EDIT** I'll take that back, it now seems to be back on track to what is was at least on start up :!:

Just done it, left it downloading overnight.
At least it's a better opening screen gui.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

You can change that if you don't like it, you can even use your own photo instead.

Go to:- Settings>change pc settings>lock screen. Hit the "Browse" button to choose your on photo if you prefer.

On a different note, I've now got my pc to boot directly to the desk top :)

Microsoft have pulled the RT version of the 8.1 update - due to various problems from users.

I'm hoping to hate 8.2 less than 8.1, but am resigned to fail in this endeavour.
