a 102 mile jaunt out in the wet!!, had to be careful with some wet leaves about but got some lovely "squirilly" bits out of the bends, then spent 2 hrs washing and cleaning it, they give it rain all week so hopefully ok for the weekend!!!

Seriously... how many type of exhausts is there for the VTR that requires swapping the oil sump to fit them? I thought it was pretty clear cut that it was Mori pipes...

Well... Dunno about the moon part... But I have one of those as well... (nope, fit's as stock, no need to swap sumps) Told ya, you'd get giddy and blow your load... (But, that's it apart from a couple of slip-on's of various makes...)

I haven't decided yet... They have been on the shelf long enough by now, that I should, but (over a year actually)... I guess the Mori one will end up on the race bike, and the M4 should find it's way onto the road bike, sooner or later... It needs a little mending first, PO managed to grind a hole in it, as well as a fair sized ding, apart from that, it actually looks spanking new... I plan on freezing it, to make the ding go away...

Too many toys, to little time... Haven't gotten around to mending it, or fitting it, since I'm anal enough that just fitting an exhaust isn't good enough for me... I means spending a day or more fine tuning the bike on the dyno, to get every last fraction of performance out of it once fitted, otherwise it's a no-go...

The sump bit's hardly a problem though....
Take an SP1 sump, cut below the mating flange, weld it onto a Storm flange, twist the oil pickup through 90 degrees and secure, and it's done.
Not hard, now, is it?

But if you have a bigger bore exhaust and can't make it fit your std sump, I'll give you a fiver for it, just to make room in your garage, you understand.

I already have a sump modified to fit the Mori large bore exhaust... That's not much of an issue, really... And, I have just recently moved to an old farm house, so now I have about 180 sqm of shop to fill with parts... Not going to be an issue to run out of space anytime soon... But... If I do have anything I can't fit, I'll make sure to give you a holler...

Visit from CK & Lloydie off loaded a load of dodgy spares...er I mean sold some really good bits at very reasonable prices...

Nice to meet you both, good luck with the builds & when you realise you don't have that last bit you need to complete the job give me a ring...

BTW just like british gas all prices are now subject to a 15% rise...

I've had my bike for over two years and I just learned that my stock mirrors fold.. no need to get R6 mirrors anymore lol thanks Mike..

Fairing off to the sprayers today, cleaned up the front a bit prior to getting the forks out. New indicators on the back end.
