Cheers.

You will have to take off the footrest to do it but it can be done.

Re: Quick question
Cheer's Mac, didn't want any nasty surprises when I get round to fitting the braced swingarm

Re: Quick question
The chain will need breaking to fit the braced arm though mate.

Re: Quick question
Ah that explains it...
You will need to get the rear on a stand loosen off all the bolts. Then figure out how to get the s/arm off by way of suspending or the Abbastand engine mount hold.
I always go for the suspend from the rafters trick but then I have the rafters to do it. Stepladder A-frame or homemade gallows are the other options.
Once suspended fully dissemble then rebuild.
Top Tip. Swingarm bolt normally passes through from the left with nut going on the right hand side. This of course means that for future front sprocket removal it all has to come off again.
When rebuilding this time pass the spindle through from the right hand side, then next time you need the sprocket off you only have to take the nut off to remove the footrest...

Re: Quick question
Will have to be abba stand method, used it successfully doing the single sider swap so should be ok this time too, cheers for the tip about putting bolt through other way

Re: Quick question
That is funny as mine came with the bolt in that orientation.MacV2 wrote:

All I have ever had to do was remove the bolt to pull the footrest from the sprocket cover side for chain removal.
Not sure why yours would be put in the other way...... though I am one of the few who bought the bike new....
