I may have to sell the "T" :(

Post by geodude »

Depending on what happens at the end of the month, I may have to sell the T. :x

Would anyone on here be interested?

I don't want to even write this but here goes.

It's the standard version but with bits added.

• Akrapovic Exhaust system
• Ohlins rear shock
• Ohlins damper
• OZ wheels
• Carbon hugger, front mudguard, side panels
• PCIII
• Oberon clutch slave
• Pilot Road III with only the Yorkshire meet and ride to the family holiday in Wales on them (<1k miles)
• New screen
• R&G Crash bungs
• Recently fitted fully serviced Showa shocks
• Under 20k ish on the clock (I'll need to check that)

Tax/Mot till end of October.

Oh ffs I sooo want to keep it. Grrrrr!!

£2500 NO OFFERS!! lol

Around £2.5k 2003. A few scratches for the drop, but nothing that can't be sorted. http://osbikers.net/ukbiker/?p=628

• Screen - Replaced with AirBlade. Titanium bolts fitted.
• Right side front faring - slight crack still remains. Was planning to get carbon ones eventually
• Right side crash bung - I was going to either leave it or straighten it - Not done
• Right side ally rad guard - I was going to straighten it or replace - Not done yet
• Snapped plastic t-piece - Replaced with aluminum one off a rally car :)
• Bar end and lever - Was going to replace them at some point anyways - Not done

That sounds like bad news. I hope whatever it is you don't need to resort to selling the beast. Very :(

That would be a real shame..... Can't you wait till after I have had a go onit!?

Hope that the problem goes away and you getto keep it, but either way, you can always buy something else when things are back on track..... And a change is a agood as a rest :D

Thanks all. I appreciate your support as ever

Times are tight and on top of everything else, my son deserves a decent bike now he is cycling to school and back every day (even in this shitty weather)

I am hoping I don't need to sell it but will if needs be.

I'll be keeping the DRZ as its a work tool and is in essence, it's two bikes for the price of one. So if I do get rid of the T, and I don't have a replacement in time for the rides next year, I'll just have to back mark them and have fun playing catch up on the supermoto. (Normal service resumed!!)

Fingers crossed.

Know how you feel. I washed mine yesterday, all the while trying to think on the positive side and hoping that no one actually waves the cash in front of me so I don't HAVE to sell it.

Fingers crossed...maybe the end of the month will bring better fortunes for us both ( and everyone else for that matter !! )

I'm sorry to hear that George

Hopefully you won't have to, but if you do, I'm sure better times will come around again in the future, and for you too Lee,

Chris.
