hi everyone my firestorm sounds like a bag of crap i can hear the chain rattleing about sounds like its snatching on somehting, so i think it needs some manuals in it , is there anybody in birmingham who would change these for me i would do it myself but i would like it if someone has done these before. (will pay :p )

Someone will be along soon. Cant help, I'm in Essex....In the mean time dont run it if you think its tensioners.

and as mentioned if you suspect they have failed or got any worse since July best not start it as you risk doing more damage.

It really isn't that difficult. Follow the guide in my signature and if there is anything that is unclear or your unsure about then ask away. :thumbup:

i will be doing a workshop day in spring next yr, so if you haven't fitted them by then i can give you some guidance if you join day at my garage.

Well I'm up for that if I can hijack the thread. Will bike shops do the manual stopper mod, or is it not even worth asking?

Not worth asking. Most can't even change the std one properly.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
